First time getting a haircut in NYC. Went here based on a recommendation from someone I met. The salon was clean and Cassie understood exactly what I wanted and was happy to adjust when I requested my hair be shorter. Definitely worth going to and I will be back!
Alexandra cut my hair and I am obsessed! Also such a relaxing experience I was fighting for my life to stay awake. Definitely going back to her!!
Truly one of the best haircuts I’ve ever gotten. My stylist did an amazing job & was very kind by talking me through exactly what she was doing. They use oribe products too which is a huge plus. Will be returning!
I am so glad I found shampoo B and Monica! I am new to the area and was looking for a fresh haircut and after researching I decided to give it a try. My experience was great. Everyone was friendly and I was in and out in less than an hour. Monica is terrific. She listened to what I wanted and gave me a great haircut. I enjoyed everything about Shampoo B and look forward to coming back.
I love the west and east village salon everyone I’ve had is great and I’ve been so picky trying to find the right salon for years!
Dyanne is amazing, if you are thinking about blondeing I can’t recommend her enough. Went today and this is the best my hair has looked in years, I will be going here for all my hair needs going forward! I’d give 10 stars if I could!
Cassie is amazing! I have dirty blonde/light brown hair and she is able to give me a cut and color that lasts for months and months with no sign of harsh grow out. Always left her chair happy and confident!

I had an amazing experience with Tony! I came into Shampoo Avenue B hoping to fix my DIY botched hair job. I had done damage with bleach and dyes, my hair was patchy, damaged, and very brassy/orange.
I initially didn’t want to take off much length but he really cared about the health of my hair and he even examined my side profile to make sure the cut would suit me before going forward. I’m so glad I trusted his input, he really knows what he’s doing.
I showed him inspiration photos for the color and he absolutely nailed it! I didn’t think such a transformation was possible and he exceeded my expectations. I have very thick hair and process took hours - Tony was so patient, even working past the salons closing on my hair. The other staff at the salon were also so kind and attentive.

I finally found a stylist who can deal with my curly hair and doesn't insist on blowing it out straight! Brandon is super-talented, thoughtful and intentional with the cut and listens 😀 thank you for another great cut - im always getting compliments!
