Welcome to Shampoo Avenue B! Since we first opened our doors in 2006, our dream has been to create a salon that feels like a natural part of the neighborhood. Our lively and talented team works hard to make sure everyone feels at home, while delivering top-notch results at prices that won’t break the bank, thanks to our 6-tier pricing system. This system lets us cater to clients with different budgets and offer stylists with varied levels of experience. Plus, our Junior Stylist program lets us nurture our own talent, with many of our most popular stylists starting out as assistants and blossoming into leaders. In 2015, we expanded to a larger location just a few doors down, welcoming more stylists to our team and more clients to our chairs. Then in 2023, we teamed up with our top stylist and educator, Joey Fabbricino (who started as an assistant in 2015), to open a new location in the West Village. Each of our locations is nestled in the heart of iconic New York City neighborhoods, and we work tirelessly to blend great hair with the local vibe for an inclusive experience.
