Ash graduated from IBS Cosmetology school in 2007, and worked as a personal assistant in the editorial world prior to joining Shampoo Avenue B in 2012. Since joining the team Ash has served as lead assistant, personal assistant, and now a sought after colorist with a talented eye for Balayage Highlights.
Joey

Originally from NYC, Joey left and grew up in a small town in West Virginia. He graduated from The Temple, a Paul Mitchell partner school in Frederick, Maryland in 2015. The day after graduating he followed his dreams by making the jump back to New York City.

Born and raised in the glamorous city of Las Vegas, Angela’s passion for all things beautiful led her to cosmetology in 2011. She began her professional career in an award winning salon under a talented and education driven team. She then decided to follow her dreams in NYC where creativity and inspiration is free flowing.

Edgar’s passion for hair began 26 years ago in his native country of Venezuela. He worked 6 years in Caracas while studying at L’Oréal Paris Academy in order to perfect his color techniques.

A Southern California native, Shane’s passion for hair styling started at an early age. He knew exactly what he wanted to do and where he wanted to go. Shane would often practice on his friends and family, and 21 years ago, he made his hobby a reality and became a licensed Cosmetologist.

Christopher started their career in the salon at the age of nineteen. After assisting in top salons across the state of NY and attending school for barbering they moved their way to NYC to seek inspiration and growth.

Anna is from a small town in Michigan and has always had big dreams of relocating to NYC. She was fortunate enough to graduate from a nationally accredited cosmetology school partnered with Sam Villa.

Originally from Los Angeles, Marilyn has been working with Shampoo Avenue B since 2008, and has seen the salon mature from a small 6 chair shop to what it is today. Graduating from beauty school at 16, she decided to return to school and complete a BA in psychology before moving to New York at 23; Marilyn has called Shampoo Avenue B her home ever since.
