Meet Derek, a warm-hearted individual who hails from the Pacific Northwest near Seattle, and later Indianapolis. In 2010, he decided to follow his heart and instincts, leading him straight to the vibrant energy of NYC. He immersed himself in learning at the Aveda Art and Science Institute nestled in the heart of Soho. Derek’s inspiration springs from a diverse mix of art, color, music, science, and the joy of giving and sharing with others. He’s discovered that his favorite way to channel all his passions is by crafting unique and beautiful haircuts, colors, and styles that make people feel fantastic about themselves.
